There’s no getting away from the fact that harvesting trees is dangerous work.

We take the safety of our staff and contractors very seriously. We provide solid health and safety training for our team and we have robust systems to protect everyone onsite.

We require our contractors to hold daily toolbox meetings onsite and we carry out regular rigorous audits on equipment and procedures.

We do all this so that you don’t have to. When we undertake your forest management, harvesting or silviculture, we also take on the Health & Safety of the operation. That’s especially important during harvesting which is notifiable work and requires the harvester to notify WorkSafe at least 24 hours before felling begins.

We’ll take care of things like communicating the hazards, identifying safe access to the work site, incident reporting, emergency management planning and a myriad of other legal requirements that you need to comply with. Managing the details can be time consuming and more than a little tricky unless you have experience which is why WorkSafe recommend using an experienced contractor to manage your harvesting.

We are SITEWISE and IMPAQ PREQUAL certified.
